BakerHostetler has announced that Marc G. Schildkraut has joined the firm as a partner in its antitrust and competition practice. Based in Washington, D.C., Schildkraut was previously with Cooley LLP.
Schildkraut has more than two decades of private practice experience and served as an assistant director with the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC) Bureau of Competition. He has helped clients obtain antitrust clearance on some of the country’s highest-profile M&A transactions in a variety of industries, including energy, retail, aviation, technology, telecommunications, and food and beverage. In his role as lead attorney, he has always been successful in obtaining merger clearances for his clients.
