As it awaits the Senate confirmation of Makan Delrahim, the US Department of Justice’s antitrust division announced today that former DOJ attorney Andrew Finch will rejoin the department as acting assistant attorney general for antitrust reported Law360.
Andrew Finch, a veteran of the division from the George W. Bush administration, will become acting assistant attorney general starting April 10, taking over for Brent Snyder, the career staff division deputy in charge of criminal antitrust enforcement. Finch will become Delrahim’s principal deputy at the division once the Senate confirms his nomination.
