US: Dentons cuts staff after McKenna merger

Recent growth at megafirm Dentons, which merged with McKenna Long & Aldridge in July, has led to some staff layoffs.

“A very small number of administrative positions … will not carry forward,” the firm says in a written statement to Above the Law, which provides a copy of an internal memo on the topic.

“We confidentially notified the few impacted individuals, and each have been provided with a severance package along with a range of outplacement services,” the Dentons statement continues. “Each person deserves our thanks and respect during this difficult time.”
