Reuters reported that on Thursday, July 18, British media company Reach announced that it is in early talks to buy various assets from JPI Media.
Johnston Press, later renamed JPI Media, was bought by its bondholders last year after it filed for bankruptcy protection.
Earlier in July, Sky News reported that the owners of JPI Media were in talks to sell “i” newspaper and certain regional publications.
