North America’s top makers of cedar roof shingles and their trade group will face a Ninth Circuit appeal of claims they conspired to fix prices, according to a filing in Seattle federal court, reported Bloomberg.
The antitrust lawsuit targets the Cedar Shake & Shingle Bureau and its leading members, Waldun Forest Products, Anbrook Industries, and G&R Cedar, Canadian companies that do most of their business in the US.
The case involves proposed class claims consolidated in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington on behalf of direct purchasers, resellers, and end users.
