The Portuguese Competition Authority (AdC) has released a press release confirming that it has conducted dawn raids on 9 companies in 7 different locations over the last week. The raids are part of an investigation into a possible cartel in the railway maintenance sector.
The probe was started by a complaint filed to the AdC’s “Fighting Collusion in Public Procurement” campaign.
Since the start of the year, the AdC has conducted dawn raids in 35 locations against 36 companies. The companies cover touristic river cruises, driving instruction, retail distribution and insurance sectors.
