During a conference in New Delhi, Sam Altman, the Chief Executive of ChatGPT’s parent company, OpenAI, expressed opposition to regulating smaller startups involved in artificial intelligence.
At an event hosted by the national daily Economic Times, he stated that smaller companies should not be regulated, but regulation should apply to themselves and larger entities.

Altman is currently traveling around the world and meeting with various heads of state.
OpenAI has secured $10 billion in funding from Microsoft and is focused on expanding its computing capabilities, resulting in a current valuation of nearly $30 billion.
