Nestlé the closing of the sale of Nestlé Waters North America brands to One Rock Capital Partners in partnership with Metropoulos for US 4.3 billion.
The Switzerland-based food and beverage giant announced in February that it will sell Nestle Waters North America to private investment firm One Rock Capital Partners for a price of $4.3 billion. The deal gains One Rock major bottled water brands that include Poland Spring, Ice Mountain, Deer Park, and Pure Life. Nestle’s major international brands that include Perrier, S. Pellegrino, and Acqua Panna aren’t part of the deal.
Mark Schneider, CEO of Nestle SA, Vevey, Switzerland, said when the NWNA deal was announced that the company would focus its water innovation and business development efforts on emerging consumer trends such as functional water.
