Italy: Roberto Rustichelli takes office as president of antitrust agency

Roberto Rustichelli, appointed on December 20 president of the Guarantor Authority for Competition and the Market by the president of the Senate, Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, and by the president of the Chamber, Roberto Fico, takes office.

“I will honor the assignment entrusted to me with the same values of independence, impartiality and independence that I have inspired in my many years of work in the judiciary,” says Rustichelli.

Roberto Rustichelli, born in 1961 in Ravenna, has a degree in Jurisprudence and in Economics and Management Sciences. At the time of his appointment he was chairman of the Board of the Court of the Naples.
