Italy’s anti-trust and competition regulator AGCM has launched an inquiry into Vodafone Italia’s Exclusive service, which it says could contravene the country’s Consumer Code because the operator automatically activated the charge without seeking the permission of users.
The Exclusive service costs EUR 1.90 per month and has been applied to some mobile plans since 31 August. It gives subscribers the right to access Vodafone’s 4G network on all devices as well as a dedicated customer service.
