On Wednesday Hutchison Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Ltd said that it is in negotiations for the sale of its fixed-line telecom holdings.
Hutchison said that there have been no legally binding agreements yet and that various parties are still involved in the negotiations.
Trading of the company’s shares were stopped late morning on July 26, but were set to continue the following day.
Earlier this month Reuters reported of a consortium had put in separate bids for the fixed-line phone unit of Hutchison.
