O’Melveny, a global law firm with offices in New York City, recently announced the hire of Herrick as a senior trial attorney for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Herrick brings extensive experience representing clients in complex antitrust matters before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state attorney general offices.
He is a seasoned litigator with expertise in both civil and criminal antitrust proceedings, as well as merger investigations. In addition to his litigation practice, Herrick has extensive experience counseling clients on competition law compliance matters and advising on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures.
With nearly two decades of experience in antitrust law and competition regulatory matters, Herrick brings an impressive portfolio to the firm.
During his tenure at the FTC’s Bureau of Competition, Herrick oversaw an array of complex antitrust matters and played a major role in a number of FTC merger challenges and investigations of healthcare, biopharma, and consumer goods companies.
Among his many achievements, he co-led the FTC team in the agency’s first successfully litigated merger challenge of a hospital system’s acquisition of a physician group.
Herrick is returning to O’Melveny where he began his legal career as an associate and then counsel in the firm’s New York office.
