According to Reuters, Booking Holdings is anticipated to receive an EU antitrust warning regarding its proposed acquisition of Etraveli Group for 1.63 billion euros.
The European Commission is expected to send a statement of objections regarding the potential anti-competitive effects of the takeover by the companies it oversees.
According to sources, a final decision has not been reached yet. The document in question puts pressure on companies to provide solutions to the issues at hand.
