Cuatrecasas Appoints 3 New Competition Partners In Europe

Cuatrecasas has appointed 10 new partners—the same number as last year—and strengthens its market position. The Partners Meeting—virtual this year—also approved the hiring of Chilean lawyer Cristián Conejero Roos to manage the new Cuatrecasas office in Santiago de Chile (Chile).

In Spain, the firm achieved gender equality in its recent appointment of partners. The Partners Meeting approved the appointment as partners of the following lawyers: Marta Máñez Pérez, Irene Moreno-Tapia Rivas, María Pérez Carrillo, Marcos García González, Miguel Sánchez Monjo and Jean-Yves Teindas. In Portugal, Sara Quaresma has been appointed equity partner, as well as Pedro Marques Bom and Pedro Vidal Matos, who were professional partners up until now.

In April, Cuatrecasas also appointed four new counsel: Santiago Busto López de Abechucho, Brígida Galbete Ciáurriz, Francisco José García Molina and Ana Sofía Silva. The appointment of new partners and counsel is part of the firm’s annual internal promotion process for all categories of lawyers—which it held this year despite the health emergency. This reinforces the firm’s commitment to promoting talent and developing its professionals’ careers, and its belief in its capacity to face the future.
