Dr. Zhan Hao, Managing Partner of AnJie Law Firm, Appointed as Regional Ambassad. Recently, Dr. Zhan Hao, the Managing Partner at AnJie law firm, has accepted an invitation to serve as the International Chamber of Commerce ("ICC") Competition Commission (the "ICC Commission") Regional Ambassador for China ("Regional Ambassador"). Alongside this appointment, Dr. Zhan continues to serve as Vice Chairman of China National Committee of the ICC ("ICC China") Competition Commission ("ICC China Competition Commission").
The Regional Ambassador is appointed by the ICC Commission on recommendation from the ICC China Competition Commission. The Regional Ambassador is a member of the ICC Commission's leadership, and is responsible for helping to strengthen communication and cooperation between ICC China and the ICC. In addition, the Regional Ambassador assists with providing a platform for experts to share knowledge and discuss developments within the ICC China Competition Commission's purview, publicizing and promoting the ICC China Competition Commission, and strengthening cooperation between the ICC Commission and Chinese enterprises.
Having served as a lawyer for more than 20 years, Dr. Zhan is one of the earliest competition law lawyers in China. He has profound theoretical and practical expertise in the fields of anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition, litigation, and arbitration. Dr. Zhan has been ranked consistently as a first-class lawyer within China's antitrust field by Chambers rankings, and Who’s Who Legal has repeatedly listed Dr. Zhan as one of China's leading practitioners of competition law. He has handled a large number of civil anti-monopoly disputes, anti-monopoly investigations, business concentration notifications, and anti-monopoly compliance matters. In addition, Dr. Zhan has also handled a large number of cross-border business concentration notification cases, involving the petrochemical, semi-conducts, financial, medical, and other industrial sectors. He often provides legal services to government departments and related industry associations.
Having been selected as the Regional Ambassador, Dr. Zhan will draw on his rich experience in antitrust and anti-unfair competition law to help China engage and contribute to the field of international competition law, improving the international community’s understanding of the latest developments in Chinese competition law.
