Wolf Sauter is a specialist enforcement officer in the competition directorate at the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) in The Hague and more recently a member of its sustainability team.
He is professor of law, markets and behavior at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam , and has published numerous books and articles on competition law since obtaining his PhD at the European University Institute in Florence. Wolf has held prior professorships in Tilburg and Groningen and a post-doc in Bremen. He has previously worked at a leading US law firm in Brussels, at the Dutch regulators for telecommunications and for healthcare, in financial market regulation at the Dutch Ministry of Finance, as well at DG Competition as a national expert.
