Tim Brennan is Professor Emeritus, School of Public Policy, University of Maryland-Baltimore County, and Senior Fellow, Resources for the Future. He has been Chief Economist at the U.S. Federal Communications Commission, T.D. MacDonald Chair in Industrial Economics at the Canadian Competition Bureau, consultant to the Director of the Bureau of Economics of the Federal Trade Commission, Senior Economist for industrial organization and regulation with the White House Council of Economic Advisers, and staff economist with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. His Ph.D. in economics is from the University of Wisconsin.
