Stefan Thomas is the Chair in Private Law, Commercial Law, Competition and Insurance Law and Director of the Tübingen Research Institute on the Determinants of Economic Activity (TRIDEA).
Stefan Thomas is the holder of the Chair in Private Law, Commercial Law, Competition and Insurance Law at the Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen, Germany and member of the International Advisory Board of the Institute for Global Law, Economics and Finance, Queen Mary University of London. He is co-editor of the ‘Zeitschrift für Wettbewerbsrecht’ (ZWeR); co-editor of the ‘Tübinger Schriften zum internationalen und europäischen Recht’, co-editor of "Beiträge zum Kartellrecht", Mohr Siebeck (together with Michael Kling). Stefan Thomas is a member of the academic advisory board of the FIW - Forschungsinstitut für Wirtschaftsverfassung und Wettbewerb e.V., Cologne; a member of the Case Reports Editorial Review Board of Oxford Competition Law (University of Oxford Press). He has authored several books and articles on antitrust law, inter alia: Rosenthal/Thomas, European Merger Control, 2010 (together with Michael Rosenthal), Kling/Thomas, Kartellrecht, 2nd Ed 2016 (together with Michael Kling), Schadensersatz bei Kartellverstößen (antitrust damages), 2nd Ed. 2018 (together with Roman Inderst).
