Sophie Flaherty is a Competition Analyst at the OECD. She is currently working on competition assessment projects in the ASEAN region.
Before joining the OECD, Ms. Flaherty worked as a lawyer for the Australian Government Solicitor (AGS) in the dispute resolution team in Sydney, Australia. During her time at AGS, she undertook secondments to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the Australian Energy Regulator (AER). She has also interned at the Australian Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the SA Ombudsman. Ms. Flaherty holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Adelaide (Australia) and a Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge (UK).
