Sophia Stephanou is an associate in O'Melveny's Brussels office and a member of the Antitrust and Competition Practice. Her practice focuses on UK and EU merger control and on infringements of competition laws within the scope of both the EU Treaty and the Competition Act 1998.
Prior to joining O'Melveny, Sophia worked for the UK's Office of Fair Trading as a Principal Case Officer. Previously she worked at a major international law firm in London and Brussels.
Sophia has extensive experience in merger control analysis, in particular from her time at the Office of Fair Trading.
