Jeremy Sandford is an Executive Vice President with Compass Lexecon based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Compass Lexecon, Dr. Sandford was an economist at the Federal Trade Commission, where he analyzed dozens of mergers and conduct matters involving industries such as: digital platforms, digital advertising, semiconductors, chemicals, hospitals, health care services, and consumer retail. While at the FTC, he also served as economic advisor to Commissioner Christine Wilson; in that role, he analyzed nearly all competition enforcement and policy matters before the Commission. Dr. Sandford served as the FTC’s expert in a 2019 distribution merger.
