Paul McGeown is an antitrust partner in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati’s Brussels office. He advises clients in a wide range of industries on all aspects of European competition law, with particular expertise in complex merger cases and industrial partnerships. With more than 20 years’ experience in the field, he regularly represents clients in cases before the European Commission and the United Kingdom competition authorities.
In addition to serving as a commentator on competition matters for a number of media outlets, Paul is a visiting lecturer in the LL.M. program on regulated industries at King’s College in London.
Prior to joining the firm, Paul was a partner at Linklaters and then at Hunton & Williams. Earlier, he practiced at Slaughter & May in Brussels and London and worked for almost three years as global in-house competition counsel at an engineering company in Paris.
