Marcio is a Partner at Mattos Filho. He has extensive experience in the competition area, representing national and foreign clients from various sectors of the economy in processes of approval of corporate transactions (mergers) before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade), investigations of anti-competitive conduct, especially cartels and abuse. of dominant position, negotiation of leniency agreements and Cessation Commitment Terms (TCC), antitrust lawsuits, competition compliance and general consultancy.

Marcio serves as co-Chair of the Working Group on International Cartels of the Antitrust Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA), is a member of the International Committee of the Competition Law Section of the American Bar Association (ABA) and adviser to the Brazilian Institute of Competition Studies. , Consumption and International Trade (Ibrac). He is a visiting professor at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas graduate program in Rio de Janeiro and the author of several publications in Brazil and abroad on competition law.
