Mr. McLaughlin is an associate in Baker Donelson's Washington, D.C. office and a member of the Government Relations and Public Policy Group.
From 2010 – 2022, Mr. McLaughlin served in the United States Navy as a Naval Intelligence Officer. He served in multiple postings worldwide, most recently as Chief of Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence for the Cyber National Mission Force where he directed all counterintelligence, human intelligence, and law enforcement operations, investigations, and support to the Department of Defense’s global cyberspace operations. While assigned to United States Cyber Command, he also served as Senior Counterintelligence Advisor to the Commander. In his role as a cyber policy research affiliate for the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security, Mr. McLaughlin advised senior government officials on the integration and expansion of Department of Defense cyberspace capabilities.
