Melissa Feng is the partner in charge of the dispute resolution practice at GEN. She has nearly 20 years’ experience, with a special focus on disputes involving letters of credit, bank guarantees, factoring, forfeiting, negotiable instruments, supply chain finance. Her recent success in commercial litigations in some very challenging jurisdictions quickly earned deep trust of major firms in China. Melissa is also very experienced in arbitrations and is on arbitrator lists of multiple respected arbitration institutions. She is currently handling multiple arbitrations for a major cross-border sport licensee.
Ms. Feng’s leadership and reputation is well recognized. In 2021, Ms. Feng was ranked in Top 15 Female Lawyers by LegalBand Client Choice and in 2022 she was recognized as ALB Top 15 Litigator (to be announced).
Ms. Feng has served many well-known international and domestic financial institutions including Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Sinosure, DBS Bank, BEA, Raiffeisen Bank International, CITIC Bank, Bank of China, ICBC, Agriculture Bank of China, Bank of Beijing, China Minsheng Bank, China Merchant’s Bank etc.
Ms. Feng has been acting as legal counsel under the CIETAC Rules, BAC Rules, SHIAC Rules, ICC Rules, UNCITRAL Rules, HKIAC Rules, LCIA Rules, and SIAC Rules, etc.
Ms. Feng is a specialist mediator of Singapore International Mediation Centre.
