Meiling Xu is a Doctorate Candidate of Peking University Law School/Intellectual Property School, as well as a Visting Scholar at University of California, Berkeley. She also works as a Assistant Researcher of Intellectual Property Development Research Institute of Peking University in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Meiling specializes in the intersection of emerging technology, intellectual property, open innovation and civil rights (including the protection of privacy, personal information and data). Meiling’s current academic projects focus on the Study on Personal Information Protection in the Era of Data Economy; Legal Governance Research on Open Source Platform; Research on key legislation in the Internet sector; A Study on Intellectual Property Protection of Innovative Outcomes of New Business Models.
