Martyn Huckerby specialises in corporate, regulatory and competition/antitrust law.
Martyn has particular expertise in advising clients on Hong Kong, Chinese, EU and Australian regulatory issues. He has extensive experience obtaining antitrust clearances in Hong Kong and China in relation to large international transactions, including GE and SAIC’s takeover of Ally’s China auto financing business and a European automobile manufacturer on a 50/50 JV with a Chinese firm. Martyn has also delivered compliance training to a variety of multinational organisations based in Hong Kong and China.
Martyn Huckerby joined King & Wood Mallesons in March 2012. From November 2008 to February 2012, Martyn was the Chief Representative of the Shanghai Representative Office of Mallesons Stephen Jaques. Martyn previously worked in Shanghai and London for a UK Magic Circle law firm and with Mallesons in Sydney.
