Dr Magali Eben joined the University of Glasgow as a Lecturer in Competition Law in August 2019. She previously taught EU and UK Competition Law, as well as European Union Law (in particular EU citizenship and freedom of movement), at the University of Leeds, during her time as PhD student.
She holds a bachelor's and master’s degree in law from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium) and LLM from the University of Leeds (in comparative corporate and financial law).
Magali was the 2018 American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law International Scholar in Residence. She was a visiting researcher at Georgetown University. She has taught competition policy summer classes at the London School of Economics.
Magali consults on a wide variety of topics for UK and Belgian law firms. She has particular consultancy expertise before the EU courts on EU general principles of law and EU institutional liability.
