Lauren Battaglia is a partner at Hogan Lovells. Working with companies across industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to financial services to manufacturing, Lauren Battaglia develops pragmatic approaches to complex antitrust issues.
Based out of Washington, D.C., Lauren brings extensive antitrust experience in merger clearance, non-merger investigations, litigation, and counseling. With a career that includes academic and professional experience in antitrust and competition issues on both sides of the Atlantic, Lauren understands the legal needs of large, multi-national companies navigating cross-border antitrust issues and investigations.
While in law school, Lauren was honored to receive the Order of the Coif and graduate magna cum laude. Lauren also served as the Chief Comments Editor of the Washington University Law Review and gained real-world experience as a legal clerk at another international law firm. Following law school, Lauren was a Ph.D. candidate at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, where she researched the role of innovation at the intersection of sector-specific regulation and competition law in the pharmaceutical industry.
