Kun Huang is a Senior Vice President with Compass Lexecon and Head of the Beijing Office. Dr. Huang has more than a decade of experience in matters related to antitrust analysis, competition policy, and intellectual property disputes. He has extensive experience in antitrust litigations involving alleged exclusive dealing, tying/bundling and loyalty rebates, price fixing, monopolization, and intellectual property issues. He has performed economic analyses for high-profile mergers. His experience spans a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, high-tech, digital platforms, transportation, publishing, and medical devices.
Dr. Huang has substantial experience assisting clients with China-related matters, including merger filings, government investigations of antitrust violations, and civil litigations involving alleged anticompetitive practices and infringement of intellectual property rights. He has given seminars related to intellectual property damages and FRAND licensing issues to judges, government agencies, and IP attorneys at Chinese and international law firms. He has also been invited to speak in conferences on competition issues and published articles in law and economic journals.
