Dr. Schrag is a Deputy Assistant Director in the Bureau of Economics at the Federal Trade Commission, a position he has held since 2014. Prior to coming to the FTC, Dr. Schrag taught in the Department of Economics at Emory University, and he has more recently taught at the Johns Hopkins University. His peer-reviewed research has appeared in a variety of outlets, including the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the RAND Journal of Economics, and the Journal of Law and Economics.
Dr. Schrag received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and has been at the FTC since 2000.
