Heike Schweitzer is a Professor at the Law Faculty of Humboldt University in Berlin. Her main research interests focus on German and European competition law and US antitrust law, state aid law, telecommunications law and Internet law, public procurement law and financial markets. From 2006 to 2010, she was chair for Competition Law at the EUI, Florence, and from 2010 to 2014 Chair for Private Law and European Economic Law at the University of Mannheim, and Director of the Mannheim Centre for Competition and Innovation (MaCCI). Since January 2011, she is Member of the Kronberger Kreis and since June 2014 is Member of the Advisory Board of WIK. She received a Ph.D. in Law (summa cum laude) by the University of Hamburg.
