Kayvan Hazemi-Jebelli (Kay) is Competition & Regulatory Counsel to the Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA) based in Brussels, where he’s represented and advised the association on competition policy issues, and European regulatory policy matters since 2019. He has over a decade’s experience working as a competition lawyer in private practice, in the European Commission Directorate-General for Competition, in academia, and as Senior Legal Counsel at a leading UK media and communications company. Before that, he worked as a computer engineer. Kay received his B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from UCLA, his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, and his LL.M. in Competition Law from King’s College London.
