Harry R S Phillips

Harry Phillips is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  He practices in the firm’s Litigation department.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Phillips clerked for the Honorable Albert Diaz on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2018, graduating "summa cum laude" and receiving the Francis E. Lucey, S.J., award for the highest academic achievement in his class.  During law school, Mr. Phillips served as a Legal Writing Fellow and briefed and argued a case in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals as part of the Appellate Litigation Clinic.

Before law school, Mr. Phillips worked as a senior writer at "Global Competition Review", where he reported daily on antitrust news and policy in the United States. He earned his undergraduate degree in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford, and is proficient in French and German.

Mr. Phillips is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
