Grant has extensive experience of advising clients on a broad range of EU and UK competition law issues (having been a senior associate in the competition team of another leading City law firm) and has represented clients in proceedings before the European Commission as well as before the UK regulatory authorities. He also has significant experience in assisting clients in responding to consultations on the introduction of new competition and merger control regimes.
Grant is responsible for monitoring and updating Baker & McKenzie's Global Antitrust and Competition Group on developments in EU competition law and trends in global antitrust - focusing on the practical implications for clients. Grant is also responsible for Baker & McKenzie's responses to all European Commission competition law consultations.
Grant has also been appointed by the UK Office of Fair Trading as a Non-Governmental Advisor to the International Competition Network.
