Raphael Fleischer has worked on a broad range of EU and Belgian competition law cases and matters, as well as on various matters in general EU law. He has worked with clients to successfully navigate through both phase I and phase II merger cases before the European Commission and has assisted in coordinating a number of multinational merger filings across the globe.
Raphael has also been deeply involved in various cartel investigations and information exchange cases before the European Commission as well as the Belgian Competition Authority and assisted in coordinating clients' strategy and defence before authorities around the world. He has additionally advised clients on dominance issues (before the European Commission and the Belgian Competition Authority).
Raphael has considerable experience in vertical antitrust matters and has advised clients on the antitrust implications of their local and global distribution practices.
