Claudio joined Aberdeen University's Law School in October 2021. He is also the director of the Eurasian Center for Law, Innovation, and Development (ECLID) at KIMEP University. He specializes in competition law and policy, law and economics of innovation, and private comparative law. Before, he was assistant professor at KIMEP University, visiting CELS fellow at Cambridge University, Faculty of Law and a visiting lecturer at the International University College of Turin (IUC), visiting professor at Trinity College Dublin, research fellow at the University College London, Faculty of Law and at Higher School of Economics, and postdoctoral research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law and at the Europa-Kolleg, Hamburg. He has published extensively in competition law and policy, regulation of digital platforms, and private comparative law. He is a licensed attorney in Italy.
