Catherine Medvene is an associate in Mayer Brown's Washington DC office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Her practice focuses on complex commercial and contract litigation, antitrust, and international and domestic commercial arbitration. Catherine represents national and multinational corporations in all stages of the litigation process. Her experience includes briefing dispositive motions, managing large-scale document productions, taking and defending depositions, and assisting clients with critical strategy decisions.
Catherine graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law. During law school, Catherine was the “Best Brief” award recipient at the I. Maurice Wormser Memorial Moot Court Competition, and won a mediator award at the INADR International Arbitration Competition. Catherine was also an Associate Editor for the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law.
