Camila Cabral Pires Alves is an Economist and Ph.D. in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2010). She is an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Economics at UFRJ (IE-UFRJ). She is the coordinator of the Graduate Program in Economics (PPGE) at IE/UFRJ and the coordinator of the Research Group on Law, Economics, and Competition (Gdec-IE/UFRJ). She previously worked as a Professor at UFRRJ and as a Visiting Scholar at the Washington College of Law - American University (Washington, DC). Between 2011 and 2013, she was assigned to the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), where she served as Deputy Chief Economist and Chief Economist. He has experience in Economics, with emphasis on Industrial Economics, Competition Defense, Antitrust and Economic Regulation.
