Benjamin Brown

Benjamin Brown, a Partner at Cohen Milstein, joined the firm in 2005 and is a member of the Antitrust practice group. He has extensive experience leading complex litigation, particularly class actions.

Mr. Brown came to Cohen Milstein after four years as a trial attorney with the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice. While there, Mr. Brown led and assisted in numerous investigations, litigations and trials involving anticompetitive conduct and mergers. Mr. Brown also prosecuted criminal cases as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, he was in private practice with Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C., handling insurance coverage and antitrust litigation. Before that, Mr. Brown served as a judicial law clerk for Chief Judge Juan R. Torruella of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
