Atul Dua is qualified as a Lawyer and a Chartered Accountant in 1988 and commenced career as a litigator specializing in Tax & Anti-trust laws. Atul has worked with the litigation firm J.B. Dadachanji & Co. during 1991-92. He joined Arthur Andersen in 1992 to set up its legal practice at New Delhi. He joined KPMG in 1993 to set up its Delhi office and to head its legal & tax practice. He joined Coopers Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1996 as head of legal & tax practice at New Delhi. He set up Seth Dua & Associates as founder partner in 1998.
Atul's professional experience spans more than 20 years with leading law Firms and multinational accounting & consulting Firms. His forte is transaction structuring and international taxation & trade. During his professional career, he has gained extensive experience in advising multinational and Indian corporates in structuring their investments in India. He specializes in tax and legal aspects of financial and technical joint ventures and M&A transactions. He has extensive experience in structuring various income streams in and out of India. He has conducted various due diligence covering both tax and legal aspects of the target companies. He has assisted several prominent multinational companies plan and set up operations in India. His industry specific expertise is in Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Media & Technology, Aviation and Projects.
