Anne Witt is Professor of Law at EDHEC Business School in Lille. Her main research and teaching interests lie in the area of European competition law and US antitrust law, with a particular focus on the digital economy. She has also published extensively on the role of economic theory in the interpretation and application of EU competition law (e.g. The More Economic Approach to EU Competition Law, Hart, 2016).
Anne began her academic career in the United Kingdom, where she taught at Kent Law School (2009-2012) and the University of Leicester School of Law (2012-2020). She was a visiting fellow at EUI (2015) and an Emile Noël Fellow at New York University School of Law (2019). Anne studied law at the University of Freiburg in Germany, obtained her LLM from the University of Virginia as a Fulbright scholar, and received her PhD in Law from the University of Kent. She is qualified to practice in Germany.
