Ângela studied law at the Faculdade de Direito de Lisboa, specialized with several postgraduate degrees in Environmental Law, and was a lawyer for over 10 years at Vieira de Almeida. She worked for the Directorate-General for the Environment of the European Commission and, between 2017 and 2022, she was Deputy and Head of Cabinet replacing the Minister for Environment and Climate Action. She took several executive courses in sustainability and ESG at CATÓLICA-LISBON and the University of Berkeley.
