Alison Sheehan

I have been an Assistant Director at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) since 2009. I am a competition lead in the ACCC’s International Unit. I have a digital platforms focus and liaise closely with the ACCC’s Digital Platforms Branch. Between 2009 and 2021 I have had various roles at the ACCC. My prior experience includes mobile and fixed access regulation, and related public inquiries and market studies. I also led a team as part of the ACCC’s current gas inquiry. I have a background as a private sector lawyer, acting on behalf of injured workers and police officers, and in criminal defence.
