OFT takes action against mobility traders for unfair business practices

The Office of Fair Trading has taken action against mobility traders after finding that they were using aggressive sales techniques and unfair business practices. Amarjit Gill and Ranjit Dhami, of ABM Mobility, had their consumer credit licenses revoked. Acorn Mobility Services has voluntarily amended its terms and conditions for customer contracts, and revamped its customer service protocol, after entering into discussions with the OFT. These enforcement actions come out of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
