Spain’s communications and competition regulator CNMC has fined the companies Dialoga Servicios Interactivos and Masvoz Telecomunicaciones Interactivas for breaches of numbering rules.
The regulator said it fined Dialoga a total of €4,800 (US$5,660) for breaches of the rules for porting special tariff and geographical numbers while Masvoz was fined €3,400 (US$4,009) for its failure to meet the conditions for the award and allocation of numbering resources.
The companies have two months to appeal the fine before the country’s contentious-administrative courts.
