The European Commission has cleared under the European Merger Regulation the acquisition of the French company Frans Bonhomme by Hayfin, based in the United Kingdom.
Frans Bonhomme distributes systemic solutions for the construction of water distribution systems, sanitation, rainwater evacuation, etc., as well as pipes for construction and public works professionals.
Hayfin provides corporate credit solutions and asset management services to institutional clients.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not pose a competition concern given the limited nature of the current and potential relationships between the activities of the companies concerned. The transaction was examined under the simplified merger control procedure.
